Why did you choose this car?
I was looking for a smaller car but within my budget and this fitted in perfectly.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car?

  • It’s is very quiet and refined
  • Does everything I have asked of it
  • Very efficient and economical.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?

  • Not the best looking car
  • On very long journeys the range could be slightly longer
  • It needs beepers added.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
It’s really fast. Proper hot hatch fast.

What car are you interested in next and why?
I have test driven the Renault Zoe, which I like but I will probably wait until the VW ID.2 appears.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
I have an EO mini as I wanted something discreet. It depends on if you are going to add solar PV, in which case a smart charger like a zappi would be better.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go – given how much energy you are putting into the car, worth a cheap rate overnight tariff.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Instavolt are excellent and the new Osprey chargers are the future. Gridserve/Electric Highway are getting better but slowly. Use Zap-Map for the rest. I have used GeniePoint and Shell recharge with no issues. Use their apps if you can as they are often more up to date then Zap-Map on status of charger.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
I just went via a comparison website. I have no preference as I change every other year.
