To reduce carbon emissions, reduce pollution, save money in fuel, performance & aesthetics.

  • Performance
  • Tech
  • Autopilot.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?

  • Sat Nav
  • Glitches
  • Build quality.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
Sentry mode uses up to 1% battery per hour. Never leave it on when leaving the car at the airport unless it’s plugged into a charger.

What EV are you interested in next and why?
Tesla Model Y, cost and tech.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Pod Point – the charger works great. However their app is useless and continuously fails to record charges. I use a third party app for setting up charging times instead.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
PFP Fixed – December 2021 – Green v1 – would recommend. Good app and reasonable customer service. Cheapest available at the time of contracting.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Tesla Superchargers. Good number of chargers at each location. Reasonable(ish) cost. Very reliable and real time service info before you arrive, so you can be sure of a charge. I have also had to use ChargePlace Scotland recently whilst on holiday. Slow and unreliable chargers – albeit cheap/free. Poor customer service.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Churchill – would recommend for Tesla drivers – very competitive.
