Tesla 3 pin charger – yes and no. It comes with the car and is convenient. Dedicated EV charger is expensive but faster charging will help to exploit low cost energy periods.
What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Energy Go Faster, yes, very economical with 5-hour low cost periods.
What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
ChargePlace Scotland + Tesla Supercharger. The former for low cost local convenience, the latter for fast and reliable touring charge stops.
Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Direct Line – dedicated Tesla insurance, that was the lowest cost available.
