Performance & Real-World Range
When analyzing the poll data, “Performance & Handling” was the second-highest rated category among MG4 owners, beaten only by running costs. The rear-wheel-drive setup delivers a surprisingly engaging driving experience. As one driver enthusiastically reported, there is “huge value for money and actually very impressed by the handling,” while another noted the “power and acceleration… are excellent, as is the range.”
Owners report that both the 51kWh standard range and the 64kWh long-range batteries hold up well in daily driving, though winter efficiency drops remain a factor. “More range would be nice, but that’s more or less taken care of by upgrading to the extended range,” advised one long-term owner.
