Home charging routine

I’m a semi-retired driving instructor, so I charge Monday, Tuesday & Wednesdays to 100%. During the winter, I get approx 185-190 miles, in milder weather that increases to 215-220. So far, I’ve never charged away from home. My fuel costs after changing from an ICE (VW Polo auto) has reduced by half. No regrets at all!

Electricity supplier & tariff

Some of the companies don’t operate in Northern Ireland, which affects the choices available. I’m using my existing supplier with an off-peak rate of 15.9p/unit. I found SSE to be the most competitive provider.

Are you part of a charger-sharing scheme for those who don’t have their own charger?

No.
