Prince drives a Vauxhall Mokka Electric 50kWh 2023.

This is Prince’s first electric car, he’s owned the Mokka Electric less than a year and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 1,000-5,000 miles and he achieves 200 miles from a full charge.

 

Why did you choose the Vauxhall Mokka Electric?

The price and styling of the vehicle.

 

Positives 

The £4 it costs to fully charge overnight!

 

Negatives 

Nothing!

 

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?

Yes

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No

 

What are the standout technological features of the car?

Nothing that stands out, it just does what it says it should.

 

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

Vauxhall Mokka Electric – it’s a great EV!

 

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements 

EVEC charger – is amazing and simple to operate using the mobile app.

 

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

EDF – overnight charging is just £0.08p but with this it means you pay a slightly more expensive daytime tariff.

Insurer – outline both positive & negative elements

Admiral – no problems.
