Paul drives a Citroën e-C4 2021.

This is Paul’s first electric car, he’s owned the Citroën e-C4 1-2 years and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 20,000-30,000 miles and he achieves 217 miles from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Citroën e-C4?

Comfort, style, extras & excellent value.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric car

I would recommend you go for the Shine Plus spec  as it has everything you need as standard.

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

Not really sure at present time, I’ll just keep up-to-date with the market.

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements

Pod Point – makes life so much easier than having to find a charge point.

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

Shell Energy standard rate tariff of 33p anytime. With current prices I’m happy with this.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

  • GRIDSERVE – easy to use & I found them great on a trip to Cornwall earlier this year. Lots of new charging stations and all units are working & priced fairly.
  • Pod Point – again, easy to use but cables can be heavy on older units
  • bp pulse –  I’ve found them to be one of the most expensive charging points and the app has lots of problems
  • InstaVolt – easy to use.

We found the best way to down load as many apps as possible.

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a Citroën e-C4

So far saving between £500/ £600 on our bill even with price increase.
