This is mozzaev’s second electric car, he has owned the ID.3 under 1 year and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and he achieves 250 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?

It was a treat to upgrade from an IONIQ EV whilst I wait for my new Polestar 2, which has been delayed and fancied a smaller sportier car with added range and something that wasn’t an SUV.

  • Design
  • spacious interior
  • ease of driving.

 

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car

  • Lack of parking camera
  • sensors too sensitive
  • App is very basic
  • charging speeds is shown in mph rather than kWh.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

Online connectivity was offline for 4 days so the app was useless but then came back on after contacting the excellent support at VW.

 

What are the standout tech features of the car?

  • Wireless Android Auto
    gesture control for some features on the centre screen
    parking sensors.
