It was a government funded grant

  • Outside charging in the rain
  • Nothing else it works well.

 

Outline any faults you have experienced with the unit.

First charge on the car couldn’t release the cable but solved on the ID.3 forum. Should have read the manual!!

 

Tell us about your home charging routine.

Charge once a week! Only short journeys up to now, 100 miles a week. Car does 230 on a full charge but I only set it to 80%.

 

If you were buying a new charging unit now, what would you buy and why?

Probably the new VW charging unit because I have a VW car.

 

Tell us about your electricity provider and tariff. Would you recommend them?

Utility warehouse. Good provider with low cost electricity and excellent service.

 

Are you part of a charger-sharing scheme for those who don’t have their own charger?

Not yet but I will in the future if it will help other EV owners!
