MG ZS EV 2022 electric car owner review

Steven drives an MG ZS 130kW Trophy EV 51kWh 2022 electric car.

This is Steven’s first electric car, he’s owned the ZS EV from new and drives between 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 500-1,000 miles and he achieves 160 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?

I’ve retired early due to ill health and I wanted a car I could step into and out of easier and an SUV suited me. I wanted an automatic so it also ticked that box. I do less miles than previously and my Vauxhall Insignia was costing just under £100 to fill a tank of diesel. As much as I really liked that car it was time to go. I had seen a lot of MGs around where I lived and I liked the look of it.

Positives

  • Cost of tax and fuel over 5 years pays the difference between the EV and the old diesel car
  • Style and look of the car
  • Suitability for my needs
  • Gadgets
  • Safety features
  • Connectivity.

The list is endless!
