Why did you choose this car?
It was the only new EV in stock that had a suitable range.
Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.
- Range – the large battery stops all range anxiety
- Space – there’s so much room in the car
- Speed – it feels a lot faster than the advertised 0-60mph would have you believe.
Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.
- Software – VW really dropped the ball here. Over the air updates have improved it but it’s still miles behind the competition.
- Storage – no front boot in an electric-only platform is a big miss
- Looks – inside and out this car is really middle of the road. VW played it too safe with the styling.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
The rear light bar pops out when you’re driving along. VW are aware and have a revised set of clips to fit.
What are the standout tech features of the car?
The automatic cruise control is excellent. You never need to touch the breaks or accelerator on the motorway.

It’s super fun to blast off the line, even if post 40mph most other cars can keep up.
