Why did you choose this car?
Have owned multiple Skodas and liked the look of the ENYAQ from when it was announced. Went for 80x as performance is in-line with my prior Skoda KAROQ SportLine.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.

  • Big Boot as I have 2 dogs
  • Performance of the 80x
  • Like the fact it still looks very normal.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.

  • The infotainment could be better, I’ve had no specific issues but things like usage stats are pretty basic
  • In some areas would expect more spec by default for the price
  • Had to upgrade phone as it only does wireless Android Auto which my phone did not support.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Currently having an issue where scheduled charges initiated from Pod Point are charging at 3.5kw max.

What are the standout tech features of the car?
Wireless Android Auto is great but otherwise it’s not a tech heavy car.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this car.
Performance is better than many will expect from such a big car.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Nothing as yet. ENYAQ VRS could be interesting.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Pod Point – would recommend, works well, app is easy to use and everything has been issue free from booking the install to requests for assistance.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
EDF – standard tariff. Moved to EDF as existing supplier went bust. As there are no deals on tariffs at the moment it’s hard to rate.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
I have never needed to use a public charging network to-date.

List your top 3 favourite public charging networks (in order of preference).
Not applicable.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
LV – existing insurer, no real change in cost when switching to EV. Policy also includes cover for recovery to a charger if you run out and also covers your home charging point.
