Why did you choose this car?
I love the look of the ZS and found that the options are limited to two models. I chose the Exclusive which is the top end of the two. It has everything you could need on an EV, heated seats and a tilting sunroof are both things that I use often to regulate temperature and save on power consumption. The car provides on average 150 miles of genuine charge, more in the summer and less in the winter. I don’t exceed 50 miles per day and gain enough charge overnight on my home charger.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.

  • Looks
  • Safety features
  • Driving performance.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.

  • No tinted window options (I paid privately to get it done)
  • Poorly lit rear seat deck
  • Slow multi-media system.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
An intermittent clicking fault on the steering rack. Seen by MG Basildon and deemed not bad enough to rectify.

What are the standout tech features of the car?

  • Active cruise
  • Lane-keeping on a motorway.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this car.
It’s really nippy between 20-45 mph and surprises much more powerful cars with its acceleration.

Ohme car charger.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go Faster – I load all my electric use onto the off-peak rate which saves a lot. I would not recommend them as I believe the tariff I’m on has changed a lot and I’ve not had a chance to review the changes.
