Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
People don’t understand there’s a difference between AC and DC charging. Headline-grabbing charge rates of 100kWh or upwards is done on DC chargers. These are few and far between and using them costs! The Zoe charges on AC and you’ll find more (22kWh) AC chargers around. Often, ‘fast-charging’ cars can only charge at 7kWh on AC (the rate you’ll get at on a home charger), so your humble Zoe could out-charge the cars around them.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Possibly a Skoda ENYAQ as I’ll be able to throw my mountain bike in the back of it.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
I have an Ohme unit. It links with my smart meter to enable tied charging. It’s fine but wouldn’t recommend it over, say, a zappi though.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
I used Agile Octopus but have switched to Go. I like the company, easy to deal with.
