What was your dealership experience like?
I’ve been dealing with Dicksons for some time now. My current car, an e-Niro, is the third new car I’ve bought from them. I’ve always found them to be very good to deal with: polite, friendly, informative and professional.

What were your first impressions of the car?
I liked the look of it more in the flesh than in photographs. It isn’t a beautiful car but I like it nonetheless. I had quite a long test drive, over two hours, which gave me the opportunity to try it on a good variety of road types and traffic levels and it was an easy and a comfortable car to drive throughout.
The only minor dislike was the restricted rear vision but I used to own a second-generation Sportage so I’m well used to that. Performance was better than the published figures would lead you to believe, certainly quick enough for most everyday driving. Although I’m not looking to change my car for a couple of years I wanted to try the EV6 thinking it might make my next ‘Possible cars to buy’ and it definitely will.

- Design, inside and out
- Drive quality
- Technology
Negatives – List 3 or more things you didn’t like about the car.
- Restricted rear view
- The headrest design is a little odd (that’s really clutching at straws!)
- There really were no other negatives for me.

No.
What other EV(s) are you considering and what attracts you to them?
I will look at any new EV that I like the look of. I’m interested in the updated e-Niro, assuming it comes to the UK. The same goes for an electric version of the Sportage, which I’ve heard may be coming out. I would consider a Tesla Model LR, I think the Tesla charging infrastructure is brilliant.
