Fast, handles well and has good range.

  • Emergency Lane Keep tries to throw me under the oncoming milk tanker on narrow country lanes
  • It’s difficult to see the white lines when parking – windows a bit high
  • Ride can be a little choppy on poor quality, pot-holed roads.

VW ID. Buzz (electric van).

zappi – highly recommended if one has solar panels. Can be set to charge only when sufficient power coming from solar. Spent most of the summer charging for free.

 

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go – yes, would recommend, 5p per kWh 00:30 to 04:30.

 

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Only charged at public chargers once or twice so cannot comment.

 

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Aviva – so far, so good!
