  • High level of technology
  • Comfortable.

  • Lane keep assist can be over sensitive
  • Lower maximum charging speed compared to the 28kWh model.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 – love the looks and modern interior.

 

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Had a Chargemaster unit installed 5 years ago, if I was getting one now I would recommend a zappi.

 

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
British Gas – not on a cheap off peak or EV tariff so looking to move in January to a different provider.

 

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Instavolt, Gridserve, Osprey & Pod Point. Reliable fast or rapid charging and contactless payment (Pod Point is app-based but it’s a reliable app and easy to use).

 

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Tesco insurance – can’t comment on recommendation as never had to contact them for anything.
