Why did you choose the Polestar 2?
At the time it was like nothing else out there and the technology in the car was far better than cars £50k more expensive. Also, looks-wise, it’s a real head-turner; the muscle car haunch and block front end with those rear lights 😍😍

- Range – could be a bit better
- Boot space – fastback style does hinder the load capacity and size of dog crate you can get
- The fact the wife loves driving it too.

Wallbox Pulsar Plus – excellent unit, easy reliable app but poor quality cradle.

NewMotion Advanced, pillar box red and 8m tether. Looks good, reasonable cable store but expensive for the poor feature set.

Ohme – it’s simple but effective and can align charging times with cheap rates on certain energy tariffs.
Project EV – 5 year warranty but not easy to upgrade firmware.

Pod Point Solo tethered 7kw charge, it works seamlessly, 3 year warranty and has scheduled charging.

Octopus Go – cheap rate allows me to get 27kw at 5p per kw, that is around 100 miles for £1.36.

Gridserve, IONITY (with discount card) & Instavolt. All reliable and easy to use.

Osprey – good service and availability. IONITY – super fast and good value with the Polestar PlugSurfing discount. BP pulse membership – simple to operate 7kW posts.

BP Pulse because I received £450 credit with the car. IONITY / Gridserve are excellent and tend to achieve better charging rates although IONITY is awfully expensive 69p per kw (Polestar have a deal that makes it 30p per kw)
