Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
How quickly it has transferred from being the ‘2nd car’ to being the main car we use for everything. We’ve done double the planned mileage because it’s so good and cheap to run.
What EV are you interested in next and why?
Audi Q4 e-tron – it looks amazing and it uses the same battery, motor & chassis so we know it will be good.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
ChargedEV – smart charger and yes, it works really well. It controls the charging periods, not the car, so there is no need to turn on/off charging slots within the car.
What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Energy Go Faster – perfect for an EV, 5.5p per kW for 5 hours overnight, adds 35 kWh for less than £2.
What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Whichever one we come to but Gridserve and Instavolt are convenient and reliable so far.
Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
LV – they seem to be EV friendly at the moment.
