After latest software update it charges much faster than advertised.
What EV are you interested in next and why?
IONIQ 5, I need a bigger car and I love it’s retro look. The extra range and super fast charging also help.
What home charging unit do you use, would you recommend it to others and why?
I use an Ohme wallbox mainly because I was on Octopus Agile. That tariff has become too expensive so switched to their ‘Go’ tariff. The Ohme doesn’t really help anymore. It has worked OK though.
What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use, would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go and yes would recommend as cheap rate for 4 hours overnight, plenty for my needs.
What public charging networks do you use, would you recommend them to others and why?
I have used nearly all of the networks and nearly all of them have failed at times. Instavolt seem to be the most reliable if not necessarily the fastest.
Who do you insure your EV with, would you recommend them to others and why?
I use LV as they were competitive and seemed to understand EVs.
