Why did you choose this electric car?

I chose it for a combination of factors: practicality, sportiness & looks. Having owned sports saloons, and fast estates in the past I was looking for a sports saloon transition into EVs. To be honest, I don’t think there really is much else out there currently like the Taycan and offering the practicality of an estate body. Options are limited if you are a car lover, as opposed to looking for a practical a to b type car at a price point. If you are looking for something that feels truly like an engaging drive, I don’t think there’s much to beat it, although I’d love it to have been cheaper!

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this electric car

  • It’s a great looking car
  • sports car’ish handling
  • awesome GT.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car

  • PCM can sometimes be a bit flaky with connectivity
  • the car is big, wish it was a bit more compact
  • basic options have to be purchased when they should be included as standard.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No

What are the standout tech features of the car?

  • Love the sports sound (extra)
  • love the screens and information provided
  • interior is really well put together with great ergonomics and implementation of screens – feels more traditional in setup rather than a massive iPad bolted onto a dashboard.

Pod Point – no real recommendation but it does the job & hasn’t failed me. No bells and whistles, has timer function not much else. Nice app integration.
