This is Michael’s first electric car, he’s owned the Mach-E under 1 year and drives between 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 1,000-5,000 miles and he achieves 300 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?

Always admired the look of the Mach-E and needed something with a longer range, hence my opting for the Extended Range version. Also, I’m a bit of a gadget fiend and the Mach-E has just about every gadget going! Plus, it’s great fun to drive!

Finishing is typical Ford:

  • some trim could be more substantial
  • paint job is NOT the best
  • the Ford smartphone app ‘FordPass’ can be a bit temperamental.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No faults experienced so far (3k miles & 4 months in).

 

What are the standout tech features of your Mach-E?

The huge display screen, lots of options (variable cruise control, self park, etc.).

There are three driving modes to choose from: Whisper mode – lighter steering, gentler accelerator response, Active mode – everyday use, Untamed mode – sharpening the steering and even producing a rumbling interior sound, replicating the growl of an ICE Mustang!

Something a bit smaller to replace my wife’s Suzuki Vitara.

Churchill – no issues, so would recommend.
