Pod point - review on Electric Road

About Pod Point (by themselves)

Pod Point is one of UK’s leading providers of electric vehicle charging. Since forming in 2009, we have manufactured and sold over 102,000 charging points across the UK and Norway. We’ve also developed an extensive public network connecting EV drivers with 5,200+ charging bays3 at locations including Tesco, Lidl and Center Parcs. Through our network of home, workplace and public charging points we have already powered over 715 million miles of electric driving.

(as published on their website, January 2022).

Here’s what some of our owners have to say about Pod Point:

‘It works well, the App is so easy to use and connects to the internet. Charging schedule programme is done on the charger instead of the car. It also shows how much it costs and is very accurate.’

Vauxhall Corsa-e Premium NAV 2021, Artwell. Read the full Owner Review here

‘PodPoint 7kW solo tethered charger. This charger is brilliant. I have set the permanent schedule charging for 21:30 to 02:30 to match my Octopus Go Faster tariff. I simply connect the MINI and the charger takes care of everything. It’s been a case of set once and go! The Pod Point app provides feedback on charging costs so that you know where you are. The indicator on the charger itself is brilliant. I would recommend a tethered charger for smaller battery EVs as there is less opening of the boot required for charging cables.’

‘I have a Pod Point 7kW. The whole process from start to finish was easy, the set was excellent. I love the schedule app and it seems very reliable so far.’
