Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
People think EVs are poor for long journeys but driving across France to the Alps in the Tesla took us the same time door to door as we used to take in an Audi A6 diesel.

What car are you interested in next and why?
BMW i4 because it has a similar price, range and performance to the Tesla Model 3 but better build quality.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Chargemaster (bp pulse) 7kW unit – fitted for free in 2014 when grants fully covered the cost. Would recommend as it’s still working perfectly for two EVs after 7 years of use.

Rate your home charging unit out of 5.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go – yes would recommend as 5p overnight tariff makes EV charging super cheap, while their standing charges and day rates remain competitive.

Rate your electricity supplier out of 5.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Tesla Superchargers and Instavolt both recommended. Sometimes bp pulse but they are not recommended as highly unreliable.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Unsure as company salary sacrifice car.
