Why did you choose this car?
Large boot space, good range, value for money, comes in under Government grant and it is a good family car option.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car?

  • Good size family car
  • Boot space
  • Comfortable
  • Decent range
  • Fast charging
  • Love the active cruise control.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?

  • Can be a bit bumpy on the motorway.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
I had an Octavia before so not that surprised and I am not a car fanatic, it just needs to get me from A to B. Very happy with it and all the gadgets work as they should. The Active Cruise Control works out the angle of a bend and adjusts the speed to take the bend at the right speed, I now hardly ever use the pedals.

What car are you interested in next and why?
The same unless Volvo brings a nice EV out as they are more comfortable but having seen the Skoda ENYAQ next to the Volkswagen ID.4, e-Niro and MG, the Skoda trumps them all as a family car.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
No home charger yet.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus – can’t get a smart meter in our area yet.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Recommend IONITY, Gridserve and BP Pulse. IONITY is good if the car is under 20% and you’ve got 100kW charging as it charges within 40mins to full. IONITY is very expensive though. Others are OK. I do struggle to get VAT receipts from BP Pulse.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Company Insurance.
