Why did you choose this car?
It ticks all the boxes. It looks stunning, has plenty of space for the family, good range, super fast charging and it’s unnecessarily fast!
Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car?
- It’s effortless to drive
- It’s comfortable and spacious
- Nothing else on the road looks like it.
Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?
- I wish it had wireless CarPlay as it seems silly on such a technological car that you need to plug in a cable for it
- I wish that the froot was bigger, it’s pretty tiny but the actual boot makes up for it
- I imagine I’m going to get a little annoyed by the amount of bings and bongs it makes when things happen but maybe they can be switched off in the settings somewhere.
Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
I had always said I would never buy a brand new car. This car was special enough that not only did I break that but I also thought it was worth spending more than ten times the most I’d ever spent on a car before.
What car are you interested in next and why?
Possibly a Nissan LEAF to replace our other car. Something smaller for getting around locally.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Hypervolt – having it installed in two weeks so can’t comment on how good it is.
What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus.
What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
I’ve only used one, an IONITY charger at a motorway services. Once I set up the app it worked great. It was pretty daunting when I got there and couldn’t get it to charge initially though.
Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Admiral – they were the cheapest. All insurance companies are equally good until you have to make a claim and I’ve never had to so can’t comment on them.
