Tested a number of EVs in 2019 and they either lacked the range or drive/charisma.

  • Dynamic Drive
  • Looks
  • Luxury feel/fit and finish

 

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?

  • SOTA updates are limited
  • Charge flap on the front left
  • Charging speed not fast enough.

Still a head-turner even after 3-4 years of being in production.

 

What car are you interested in next and why?
Kia EV6, IONIQ 5 & Polestar 2, interesting designs.

zappi 2.0 – yes, very much so.

 

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
EDF Go Electric – yes, 8pm evening and weekend so benefit from cheaper electric for normal electricity use.

 

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
BP Pulse, Pod Point, IONITY, Electric Highway etc. much of a muchness but I would recommend BP Pulse for reliability.

 

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Multiple over the years, much of a muchness.
