Why did you choose this car?

  • Great to drive (Performance & Handling)
  • Comfortable
  • Supercharger network
  • Advanced Technology
  • Whilst expensive, very cheap to maintain
  • Very efficient – cost per mile
  • Tesla frequently update features on the car.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car?

  • Handling
  • Performance
  • For executive saloon, good value
  • Easily fits golf bag & trolley in boot, with lots of space for other items.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?

  • Can’t get Apple Pay
  • Limited range of colours
  • Nav System lacks flexibility, albeit the nav works very well.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
How much space there is, in the cabin, boot and frunk. Last fossil fuel car I had was a Golf and there is significantly more space.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Tesla Model 3 LR as nothing else comes close. It is the benchmark others are compared against.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Webasto Pure – probably not as it now does not qualify for the grant but I am very happy with it.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go Faster – strongly recommend as I get 3 hours charging at 4.5p per kWh and other times are competitive. But their gas prices are expensive so changing gas to another supplier.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Supercharger – as easy to use as a home charger with payment taken automatically from your credit card and there is a good network of chargers and 99% certainty they will work. Instavolt, Gridserve, Shell & Osprey as they are all cashless and work most of the time.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
LV – I would recommend but beware they increase renewal prices and when check online they are cheaper. Last time they honoured their internet quote.
