Why did you choose this car?
Cheapest, oldest with decent range.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car?

  • The smooth torque
  • The tight but relaxed driving
  • Driving on starlight
  • The big boot
  • The range
  • The dashboard display
  • The quiet.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car?
Nothing I really don’t like, criticisms – wallowy suspension, only 22kw charging & the voice control of the media centre is not very clever like Alexa.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
It can drive at 1.25p per mile electricity cost on the night EV 5p/kWh Octopus Go tariff, so £2 for a full charge.

What EV are you interested in next and why?
The ZE50 if it has better suspension or I might sell my house and buy the fancy £100k+ Renault or the EV Porsche.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
None yet, probably Sync EV or EO mini.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Will use Octopus Go with 5p night tariff but normal during day.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Genie/revive – good, local to me & I have RFID card. BP polar, contactless & in pub car parks. Pod Point, last of my free local 22kw and Lidl, any with Type 2.

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Direct line – just starting, include things EV, cheapest well known and a smooth website.
